Schwartz 15th anniversary
I'rjHiiil W'diiiitf. The fifteenth anniversary or crystal wedding of Mr. and Mrs. L, Schwartz took place at their residenco on Mission Mission St. last Sunday evening. The guests commenced arriving about eight o'clock, and wero received by tho bride and groom. Tho parlors woro beautifully decorated with evergreens evergreens and flowers, ovor tho arch in tho parlor woro tho mottoes of gold, silver and crystal, on which woro "Crystal," "Honeymoon" and "Confirmation," "Confirmation," tho latter being in honor of. their son Joseph's confirmation, every Israelite of the age of thirteen years helng confirmed according to tho Rabbinical laws. Tho presents wero numerous and costly, being displayed displayed in the rear parlor and occupying occupying a great dcul of spaco. Tho main parlor was devoted to tho birthday gifts of Master Joseph. At nine o'clock tho company, preceded by Soria's band, marched dow n to Tom- Tom- peranco Hall, whore busy feet tripiied until the midnight hour. At twelve o'clock the guests walked hack io the rosidonco anil to tho number of sov-eiity-fivo sov-eiity-fivo sov-eiity-fivo sov-eiity-fivo sov-eiity-fivo seated themselves at tho ta. bles, which were spread in the threo parlors, and which were ladened with dainties that might tempt even a Dr. Tanner. During the evening toasts wero delivered by Messrs, Harnot, Schwartz, J. Schwartz, Lessor and J, St eon. J. M. Lesser was presented with several jdeees of silverwaro by Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz, as a compliment compliment for the aide manner In which ho instructed their son, CIris, II. Hirsch, of San Jose, also delivered several humorous ircitat ions. Amid the Hashes of wit and tho popping of champagne corks the party broko up at an early hour Monday morning. Friends were present from San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland ami Watson, ville.
