Fodrea Claims Miss Scklickeiser s Hand At a ceremony Friday evening at the Community church in San Carlos, Rachel Anna Schlickeiser and James Russell Fodrea were united in marriage. Preceding the double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Weldon Batty, Mrs. Frank Cush of San Carlos sang two solos. . Given in marriage by her father, Herman F. Schlickeiser of San Bruno, formerly of San Carlos, the bride wore an angle length gown of nylon lace and taffeta fashioned with cap sleeves and Chinese'col- lar and full skirt. With this she wore a fingertip length veil and {carried a bouquet of a shower of ·white stephenotis centered with a white orchid. , Maid of honor Marylin DeVeikis of San Carlos wore a leaf green taffeta ballerina length gown with a scalloped neckline and carried a Temple Skrine Sets Reception Temple shrine No.'34 of the White Shrine of Jerusalem will pay tribute to the Supreme Worthy .'High Priestess Vivian M. Parrish who has arrived from her home in the East to visit the various bouquet of deep pink gladioli and rosebuds. Bridesmaids Phyllis Olson Olson of San Carlos and Louise :ry of Redwood City, wore similar _owns and carired bouquets of ight pink gladioli. Chester Villalba of San Francisco Francisco performed best man duties 'or the groom, and ushers were Joseph Hilton" Brown of Burlingame, Burlingame, Luther Gentry III of Redwood Redwood City and Dale Karstedt of the United States air force. The reception following the ceremony was hel din the parlor the church. White gladioli were used in decorations for the room and for the tea table which held the bride's cake. The new Mrs. Fodrea chose a navy blue faille for her going away outfit. The young couple will make their in San Francisco. Rachel attended elementary schools in San Carlos and is a graduate of Sequoia High school. She has one sister, Mrs. John Steidley of San Diego. James also attended San Carlos schools, is a graduate of Sequoia and attendee San Jose State college. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell'Fodrea of San Carlos and has two sisters Mrs. Arthur Gentry of Redwooc City and Mrs. Ralph Oliver oi New York.
