.Sensational Discoveries Are Made in "Valley of Kings" in Egypt - , LONDON, Not. 30. (Associated ' Press) What Is claimed to be the 'dost sensational Egyptological discovery of the century is announced In Cairo dispatch to the Times from the t'Valley of the Kinds' on the site of ancient Thebes, near Luxor. A series of subterranean chambers has been explored and so far has disclosed the funeral paraphernalia of the Egyptian king Tutenkhamun, one of the kings of the eighteenth dynasty reigning about 1350 B.C. The discovery Is announced by Lord Carnarvon, specially summoned from England by the explorer, Howard Carter, who has been excavating at this place with Lord Carnarvon for several years, but to the present with little success.
