iPfc. Luther Clark in i Hospital in England [ THE 103rd GENERAL HOS! HOS! P1TAL, England, (Special) — Pfc. ' Luther E. Clark, 32, whose wife, Mrs. Frances Clark, resides al 2733 North, Alton, III., is recuperating at this United States Army genera! hospital from wounds received in action in Belgium. His ward surgeon surgeon said, "Pfc. Clark is making normal progress but will require additional treatment." Attacking a German position with his unit, Pfc. Clark, an infantryman, infantryman, received multiple shrapnel wounds. After he had been administered first aid he was evacuated to a hospital in the rear area by ambulance and later flown to England. He has been awarded the Purple Heart Medal. A former sales for the Standard Home Furniture Co., Alton, Alton, he entered the army on Dec. 29, 1943, and received basic training training at Fort McClellan, Ala. A brother, Otis Clark, seaman second class, is in the navy. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Clark, reside at Wingo, Ky.
