Death came aft; er an. extended period of feebleness, - due to extreme age. Â·'Â·Â·.*'Â· Mrs. Rippe was born in Lahde, Preuss-Min.den, Germany, and was married in her native land in 1862 Christian Rippe. .Within a few years they came to America, locating in Wayne. The husband died nine years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Rippe were the parents of seven children, four of ' are living--Christian Rippe, Charles B. Rippe, Mrs. Fred Tieman and Â· Meyers, all of this city. There are also twenty-three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Henry Kohlmeyer. Mrs. Rippe was devoted Christian woman, and had been a member of Emanuel Lutheran church for the past thirty-four years.
