is Pfc. Luther Clark Wounded Pfc. Luther Clark, 33, an infantryman, infantryman, has been reported wounded wounded in action Jan. 11 in Luxembourg, Luxembourg, according to word received by his wife, Mrs. Frances Clark, 2733 North. In a letter Pfc. Clark told his wife he was in a hospital in France. Official word that he had been Injured was received by his parents, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Clark of Fulgham, Ky., who informed his wife. Pfc. Clark, a native of Kentucky, was employed at Standard Standard Home Furnishers Store, 500 East Broadway, before entering service on Dec. 29, 1943. He moved to Alton about six years ago. ' Pfc. Clark received training al Fort McClellan, Ala., and was sent overseas last July, arriving in England. England. Later he went to France. He is the father of a son, Donald, Donald, 10, His brother, Lois Clark resides in Alton arid another brother, brother, Noah Clark, a one-time resident of Alton, Is in the navy.
