Thomas, leader of Iowa Methodism. Also participating were Dr. Arthur J. Kindred, superintendent of the Mason City District District ; 'and the Rev. Warren S. Paige, local pastor. A floorstone was laid in the entrance at ceremonies following the last service in the o 1 d church Sunday morning-. ' BUILDING COMMITTEE — Responsibility for building the new Meth- odist Church in Britt fell upon the members of the building committee, Gil- bert Guenther, chairman; Mrs. Harlan Stevenson, secretary; Carl Korneisel, treasurer; Mrs. Walter Hefti, Alfred Champion, Orville Whitney, Max Barnett, Ralph H. Anderson, Norman Lee, Floyd Rummel Jr., the Rev. Warren S. Paige. The §269,000 building includes a central worship area surrounded by facilities , for classrooms, and church offices. Thorson, Brom and Broshar of Waterloo was the architect.
