He was a former member of the Salvation Army Board and a World War I Army Veteran, and a member of American Legion and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife June of Kirkland; two sons, Robert Ecklund, Omaha, Neb", and Gary Ecklund, Rockford; one sister, Lillian Ecklund of Kirkland, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Kirkland with the Rev. Peter Holmer officiating. Burial will be at Maple Cemetery in Kirkland. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Quiram-Kirkland Funeral Home. Wilber R. Lamont KIRKLAND -WilberR. Lamont, 71, of Kirkland, died Saturday, June 9, 1984, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford. He was born June 14, 1912 in Kirkland, the son of Arthur and Lou (Moon) Lamont. - ". He married Martha Tin-dall on July 4, 1942 in Junction City, Kan. He formerly owned and operated Lamont's Grocery in Kirkland, and was a DeKalb County Deputy Sheriff and baliff for several years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kirkland, and a member of the Kirkland Lion's Club. He was also a World War II Army veteran, and member of the Kingston American Legion. He also was a member of the Hiawatha Booster Club. Survivors include his wife, Martha, of Kirkland; one son. Gene Lamont of Sarasota, Fla.; two daughters, Helen Lamont of Philadelphia, Penn., and Rebecca Lamont of Kirkland; one brother, Eldon of Kirkland; several nieces and nephews, and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Corwin La mont. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Kirkland with the Rev. Barbara Page Kell officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Cemetery in Kirkland. Visitation will be .Monday at the Quiram-Kirkland Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Alice G. Herrmann ROCKFORD - Alice G. Herrmann, 92, of Rockford. formerly of Steward, died Sunday, June 10, 1984, at home. Arrangements are pending at Jacobson Funeral Home in Shabbona. Michael Scott Rackley HINCKLEY - Michael Scott Rackley, 21, of Hinckley, died Sunday, June 10, 1984, at Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora following a motorcycle accident east of Hinckley. He was born on Sept. 27, 1962, in DeKalb, the son of James L. and Ruth (Wainscott) Rackley. He was a deputy jailer in Shelby County, Ky. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ruth Rackley of Hinckley; two sisters, Mrs. Bradley (Anita) Byro of Hinckley and Vicki Lynn Rackley of Hinckley. . He was preceded in death by his father, James L. in May of 1984. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Nash Memorial Chapel in Hinckley, with the Rev. Wayne D. Kirk officiating. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery at Sports Hobbies Trophies SPORT SHOP DOWNTOWN DEKALB
