PIONEER NEWS Catherine McMlllen, the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grey McMillen, is siok with scarlet fever but. is grettingr along nicely. Ted Hutchens of Wichita, Kans., is visiting with his parents, Mr. I and Mrs. J. F. Hutchena. Mr. and_Mrs, A. S. Stark of Pierce City visited in the Leland Stark home Sunday afternoon. . John Wagmer and little daughter, daughter, Ruth, drove to Springfield, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Wormington of Neosho and Lena Stark who has been with them the past six weeks visited in ther L. E. Stark home Sunday afternoon. O. H. Akin und son, Louis, were in Qunter on business, Thursday. Walter Allen and Bertha Elbert motored to Cassville last Wednesday Wednesday and were married. They will live with Walter's aunt, Miss Effie Effie Hutchens. Lewis Stark is purchasing a new sheep shearing machine. See him -ahearlT Leland Stewart's wife was operated operated upon for appendicitis, Saturday Saturday night, April 18, at the Seminole, Seminole, Okla,, hospital. At last reports reports she was doing nicely.
