P. A. a his the "a man Interested in the good of the community." He served on the building committee of the Zlon Lutheran church In the town of Freeburg, Snyder county, Pa. His entire life was spent In community and when he passed away in 1819 he was buried in Peter's burying ground of Zlon Lutheran church. Gave Ground for Church, School, Cemetery Michael Roush's grandfather, George Casper Roush. was also a participant in the Revolutionary war and was a member of the Northumberland Rangers. He, with two other men, gave six acres ol ground to be used for a burying ground and the site of Zlon Lutheran Lutheran church and school. The original site of this church Is a north of Freeburg. George Casper Roush and his wife. Anna M., are buried in Zlon burying ground. The great grandfather of Michael Roush, was named Casper, too. was one of the Palatines, who left his home on the Rhine, prior to 1711, because of religious persecution. persecution.
