Driver Charged in Fatal Crash A warrant was issued today by Dist. Atty. Frank Kinast charging Robert Olson, 28, Rte. 3, Brodhead, with negligent homicide in connec-] tion with the death Saturday afternoon afternoon of Harry R. Croake Jr., 28, Beloit, in a three-car collision on Highway 81 six miles west of Beloit. Dist. Atty. Kinast said his investigation investigation of the case revealed evidence of careless driving with a high degree of negligence on the part of Olson. He said Olson would be ordered to appear in Beloit Municipal Court next Wednesday. The Olson car rolled over several several times after colliding with two others. All three cars involved in the crash were going north, ac cording to a sheriff's department report. Trapper Is Fined for Law Violaffon WISCONSIN RAPIDS (ffl-Trapper Roy Remitz was fined $20 and costs in Justice Court Thursday on a law violation spotted by a conservation conservation warden he was aiding. Remitz had asked Warden John Goberville to come out Wednesday and inspect the legality of traps he had Set out in the southeast comer of Wood county. Goberville's car developed engine trouble at the scene and Remitz opened the trunk |of his own car to get a tow chain. Goberville noticed the trunk contained contained four untagged beaver and muskrat carcasses. Remitz pleaded no contest before Justice Gerald Hierl, saying he had misconstrued the law to under- the Mrs. Mrs. dren year bush tagged.
