of is by of to India's to a Car Crash Case Begins in Court Judge Arthur C. Luebke found probable cause to believe an offense had been committed by Robert Olson, 28, Route 3, Brodhead, in Municipal Court at Beloit yesterday afternoon and Olson probably will appear in court again Monday, Rock County District Attorney Frank X. Kinast said today. Olson has been charged with negligent homicide as a result of an accident March 20 in which Harry Robert (Bob) Croake, 28, Beloit. was killed. Olson was driving the vehicle which was involved in a three-car collision on Highway 81 west of Beloit. Officers reported he was passing another westbound car driven by a Beloit man and swerved to the left shoulder. Police said Olson's car rolled over several times and crashed into a third westbound car driven by Charles Kelly, Monroe, who was not believed hurt, seriously. Kelly was released from testifying " at yesterday's preliminary hearing. ' Dr. K. L. Carter, Beloit, medical examiner at the crash, took the stand yesterday as did Louis Farmer and Erwin Raymer, Beloit. Farmer, who was going to Monroe, told the court that Olson had passed him and scratched the fender of his vehicle. He estimated the speed of Olson's car at 70 miles per hour. In a similar statement, Raymer, who was headed from Monroe to Beloit and saw the Olson vehicle in motion, estimated an indenti- cal speed. Mr. Croake's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Croake. Beloit, are former residents of Albany.
