MAN LOSES XrM WHEN RUN OYER BY BOX CAR Henry Spindier in Serious Condition Condition at State Hospital Henry Spindler. 36, of 623 Cherry street, is in the State hospital with a fracture of the left leg and with his right arm amputated below the elbow, as the result of being struck by a freight car while sitting on the tracks In the Delaware and Hudson railroad yards along Lackawanna avenue yesterday yesterday morning. He is also suffering from loss of blood. His condition is regarded as serious. 'The accident occurred when a gang of men were unloading a car of bricks along the track. Spindler complained complained of suffering from a nail in his shoe and sat down on the track to remove the troublesome prong. While taking off his shoe a yard engine coupled with a freight car struck him. He was picked up by a fellow workman workman and rushed to the State hospital. Spindler is married and has three children. children.
