YeBterday afternoon Just before 5 o'clock, an alarm .was turned in from Prospect avenue and Brook street. When the companies arrived at the scene, there was no fire. A lamp had exploded and caused a little excite ment in the home of Mrs. Henrietta Spindler, at 535 Cherry street. Henry Morgan, who was using the lamp to thaw out frozen pipes, was quite seri - j ously burned.
