Obituary of Patrick Martin 1913
PATRICK MARTIN DIES AT DALEVILLE HOME Patrick Martin, father of Attorney M. J. Martin, of this city, died early yesterday morning at his home in Dalevllle. He is the first one to die in the immediate family, his wife and ten children all surviving. Twenty-five Twenty-five Twenty-five years ago, Mr. Martin lived In this city and was an active figure in politics, though he never held an office. He was a native of Sligo, Ireland,, and was sixty-seven sixty-seven sixty-seven years old. When in' Scranton, Mr. Martin followed the occupation of a miner. Before that, he spent some years in the West. Besides the widow and Attorney Martin, the following children sur vive: James, William and Miss Catherine Catherine Martin, of Moscow; Dr. Thomas P. Martin, Frank Martin and Mrs. Joseph Eagen and Miss Mary Martin, all of Mayfleld, and Mrs. Michael Bagley, of Carbondale. The funeral will-be will-be will-be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. A mass or requiem will be celebrated in St. Catherine's church at Moscow, and burial will be made in St. Catherine's cemetery at that place.
