On Saturday a statewide Baha'i Institute on Universal Participation wilt be held at the Capilal Cabana Mold. 1901 Assembly in Columbia, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. At 8 p.m. a public meeting and reception for Mrs. McCants will be held at Ihe University of South Carolina Russell House. After graduating from Ihe University of Michigan with a Phi Bet la Kappa, M r s . McCants studied nl the Sorbonne Sorbonne in Paris and helped form the first- Local Assembly of Orleans,, France. She 'also t r a v e l l e d e x I e n sively throughout Spain and France teaching the Baha'i faith. After reluming lo the United Stales and receiving h e r Masters degree from Harvard, she worked in a research group at the University of Michigan in social psychology. In addition she received a Masters Degree from Atlanta University in guidance and c o u n s e l i n g , and was a research associate in psychology at the University of South" Florida. Upon receiving \\ Ph.I) from the University of Georgetown in clinical psychology, she did au internship at Ihe University of North Carolina al Chapel Hill, N.C., and was the chief psychologist in Guam.
