Fami air Chns Wed Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Thompson Helen Dolinsek Is Bride Of Dwight Thompson On Sunday June 16 m St Pal rick's Church in Melrose Miss Helen Teresa Dolinsek became the bride of Dwight Marvin Thompson The Rev J J Morns sev of St Patrick s Catholic Churcn performed the ceremony at 2 p m before an altar decorated vvth white gladioli and pastel blue carnations The pews were marked w i t h blue bows John Morgan, and Jimmy Curran served as altar bovs The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Henrv Dolmsek of Melrose Parents of the bride groom are Mr and Mrs Alerwyn Thompson of Russell Miss Diane Curran of near Russell at the organ accompanied the soloist Miss Hannam of Mel ro*e. who sang ' A \ e Mane and 1 Oh Beautiful Mother The brides gown was of Chan tilh lace and tulle in floor length The bouffant skirt fea tured a tulle insert ed^ed with scalloped lace and trimmed with self made roses The back of the skirt fell in tiers of tulle and scalloped lace The bodice was fitted and had a scalloped round neckline trimrned with iridescent sequins and seed pearls The ta pered late sleeves were long A crown of pearls accented with drop pearls held her fingertip \eil of silk illusion She carried a w h i t e orchid w i t h white stream ers and l i h - o f t h e yalle\ She also wore a pearl necklace a gift of the bridegroom She was given m marriage bv her father The bride s sister Airs Mar garet frees of Ankenv was ma Iron of honor Her ballerina length drc^s was of powder blue orj.,dn/.a and lace stv led w ith a flared «kirt and fitted bodice and a cummerbund round neckline and elbow length sleeves Her matching tiara was tnmmed in pearls and held a circular veil She carried white chrvsanthe mums and blue carnations Burdctte Thompson of Dirs Moines brother of the bride groom served as best man I sh ers « t r e Robert rces of \nkcn% and Harold Holdefer of Melrose brothers in lav* of tlu bridi Jim lor ushers yvere \ \ a v m . ana Bobbv Fees nephews of the brick Junni Kav Morgan of Bon d u i n n l served as flower girl was vnann^.a floor length dress of w h i t e lace over organza a hi op skirt and a crown of qu ni and pearls y»ith a circular v e i l Slit carritd a w h i t e basket of whili chrysanthemum Johnny rcei of A n k i n v brides nephew was ring bearer The bride s mother wore a bei^e sheath dress with beige and brown accessories The bridi Brooms mother had chosen a n a \ v blue lace- and crcpc sernble with yyhitc accessories for the occasion Each wore a blue and white carnation corsage In charge of the guest book was Miss Lois Ann Thompson sister of the bridegroom -A reception was held mimedi atev 1 follow ing the ceremony The table was decorated in blue and w h i t e and was centered a five-tier cake w i t h four shaped cakes as the bottom lay er Sirs Thelma Post of Bartles ville Okla aunt of the bride groom served the punch Airs Mary \Vilson of Colfax and Airs Jowly n Scarborough of DCS Moines aunts of the bride cut and served the cake Mrs Essie Heatherh of Des Moines also an aunt of the bride served coffee Airs Mar Lou Holdefer of Mel rose, sister of the bnde, and A eva Lea Curtis of Muscatine yvere in charge of the gifts lor their wedding trip the hnde had chosen a w h i t e dress trimmed in red and white accessories She wore the cor sage from the bridal bouquet Following a trip through the Uzarks the couple will be at home in C h a n t o n Airs Thompson is a 1962 grad u ate of Russell Community High School The bridegroom a 1958 ^raduate of the same scfiool is employed at Gartin s Super \ in Chanton
