Oscar Holderby HEYWORTH (PNS)-Oscar (PNS)-Oscar (PNS)-Oscar J. Holderby, Holderby, 88, died at 10: 10 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Bloomington, where had had been a patient for five weeks. His funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Stensel's Funeral Home, I ley worth, the Rev. George Baldridge officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Holderby was born Feb. 22, 1887, at Carmi, a son of William and Susan Chapman Holderby. He married Kola Anderson, Dec. 24, 1910, at Carmi. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Nobel, Palos Heights; Mrs. Freda Crookshank, Plainfteld, Ind.; Mrs. Vivian Hoyt, Hey worth; a son, James, Morroco, Ind.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grand great-grand great-grand children; a brother, U. A. Holderby, Wood Hill Towers, Bloomington. Five brothers and two sisters preceded preceded him in death. He was a member of the Heyworth United Methodist Church and farmed in the Heyworth area until his retirement 11 years ago. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heyworth United Methodist Church building fund.
