Mrs. Josephine Butler, 95; Dies; Bluford Rites Mrs. Josephine Butler, 95, of Bluford, died at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday at the Schumm Nursing Home in Bluford. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m'. ' Friday at the Bluford Nursing Home with the Rev. Roy Beal officiating. Burial will be in Thomason cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Bluford Funeral Home where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today. Mrs. Butler was born Dec. 19, 1870, at Decatur, 111., the daughter of Edward and Effie (Cherry) Ray. She was first married to Oliver E. Peck, who preceded her in death. She later married Cyrus L. Butler, who also preceded preceded her in death. Others preceding preceding her in death include two sons, Edgar and Cecil Peck, two step-sons, Clyde and Claude Butler, a step-daughter, Mrs. Hazel B. Cunningham, three sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by a stepdaughter, stepdaughter, Mrs. Mabel B. Lowe)-y Lowe)-y of Centralia; two brothers, Frank Ray of Albuquerque, N.M,, and Edwin Ray of Moberly, Moberly, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs, Anna Hadley of Nemaha, la., Mrs. Jennie Wunderlick of Mascoutah, Mascoutah, and Mrs. Ruth Collie of Decatur; one grandchild; four step-grandchildren; a gi-oat-fcrandson; and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mi's. Bullor was a membcfi of the Bluford Baptist church.
