and Mrs. Rubert Stewart Royce, Mrs. Dudley F. Reynolds, Reynolds, Mrs. Henry C.Rvder, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Higgins, Mr. Rowland L. Field. A NOVELTY which was thoroughly enjoyed by all present was the filming of scenes for "Glorifying Gladys," the society cinema for which a Movie Ball was specially held on Wednesday evening. Shortly after nine o'clock the action commenced with two Kleig lights set on the platform and Mr. V. Hall Everson, Jr., grinding grinding out shots of the dancers. Miss Betty Wissing as the vamp, danced with Mr. Arthur Harrison, the host, receiving a big rush from the stag line as did Miss Marion Ferguson, the heroine, "Gladys," as she was taken with her hero, Mr. Treadwell Berg. The two leads led a grand march and general shots were also taken of the ballroom so that practically everyone present will be on the screen. Specialty dances Charlestons were done by Miss Elizabeth Stebbins and Mr, Stockwell Jadwin and a black bottom was skilfully executed by Miss Lisbeth Higgins in a shimmering gown of sequins. "The Melodeans, led by Donald Ross, Jr., and Kellogg Brumley, assembled together once again as a special favor and made a great success of the music for the evening.. Those present were : the Misses Clelia Adams, Barbara . Bailey, Alice Braislin, Marjorie Bijou, Agnes Caltender, Eileen Cantwell, Mary Cabaud, .Martha Caldwell, , Eliza-., Eliza-., Eliza-., tieth Deyer, Katherine and Caroline Du Bois,. Ruth.
