us bal-' we tbe a a If us see is to ,to In Fight Follows Fight; Third Arrest Is Made Floyd Scolby, age 20, employed by the Ben Slbbit Iron and Foundry Company, was arrested yesterday on an assault charge made by Frank Richet, a foundryman living at 309 South Hydraulic. - Richet is the father of Mils Frances Richet, who accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hay- Hay- den the night of July 23 when Hay-den Hay-den Hay-den was beat up at Cleveland and Douglas for defying Richard Morris and . George Campbell when they ac costed Mrs. Hayden and Miss Fran ces Richet. Scolby stood by, Richet says, and saw Hayden Attacked with out making a move to, Intervene. Later Scolby heard that -Richet -Richet was aneered because Scolby had al lowed the men to attack Hayden and had not assisted Hayden. Scolby went to Richet and the fight which caused his arrest yesterday was the result of his visit. ' "I hear you have been making re. marks about my conduct during the Hayden fight? said Scolby to Richet "I said' you- you- were a coward," re plied the father of the girl Scolby Intends to marry. - "Where -do -do you get that stuff!" Scolby retorted. "Any man who would stand by and see women Insulted and a man beat up is a ' coward," declared Richet Conversation ended at this point and fiehtine began. -v -v Yesterday, Richet swore out a war rant for Scolby and he was taken Into the city court"' The youth nleaded not culltv and cave a $500 bond,, pending a preliminary hearing August 10.
