Frank Lanning. had been seriously woundede in action January 17 in Belgium. Pfc. Lanning, a graduate of Logan Logan High School in 1943, entered the service in July of the same year. He received his basic training training in the ASTP at Fargo, North Dakota, Camp McClelland, Ala. and Camp Gruber, Okla. He has been overseas since last December. December. He was serving with the Third Army* S/Sgt. Herbert Marvin Lackey, husband of Mrs. Kathryn Larimer Lackey has been reported by the War Department as seriously wounded in action in Belguim, January 15. Mrs. Larimer received the communication Thursday. Previously wounded on July 3, Sgt. Lackey was hospitalized for many weeks. In the Army since January 1941, he has been overseas overseas a year. He also was with the Third Army.
