Snyder Family Reunion
Snyder Descendants ; Hold Reunion at Hawley HONZSDALX, May 38. A reunion of nieces and nephews of Miss Mary Snyder was held at the home in Haw ley on Sunday. It was a regular home coming for the members of an old family of the pioneer days of Hawley at the home of the only survivor of Abram and Jane Snyder. Dinner and supper were served. The idea originated originated with Mrs. Nellie Daniels Strat - ton, Deltan, who was elected president of the newly formed organisation. Miss Snyder was made honorary president and Russell Snyder, Clarks Summit, was elected secretary. It was decided to hold a meeting each year on the Sunday before Memorial day at the home of Miss Snyder. Mrs. Annie Daniels was the oldest niece present and W. L. Dodge was the oldest nephew. Robert Snyder and William William Dodge were the youngest grand nephews present. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ridgeway, Jersey City; Mr. and Mrs. Edward McEnaney, Scranton; Mrs. Mortimer Ball and daughter, Sadie, also Mr. and Mrs. William Smith, Allen town; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ammerman, Bethlehem; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Snyder and son, Robert, and Mr. and Mrs. George Gregg, Clarks Summit; Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Stratton and daughter, Marjorie, Dalton; Wil - lard Snyder and S. H. Snyder, Scranton; Scranton; Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Dodge and son, William; Miss Florence Dodge, and Mrs. J. L. Leippe, Honesdale, and Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Bigelow, Pleasant Mount.
