CARDIN Swinehart-Shroyer Beautiful in simplicity was the wedding of Miss Thelma Shroyer and the Rev. Cecil Swinehart which was solemnized Friday, Dec. 24, at the Christian church. Guests were assembled at the church at 3:45 The bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shroyer, and the groom's mother, Mrs. Dora Tennis, arrived at the church a few minutes before the bridal couple. Promptly at 4 o'clock the bride and groom walked down the aisle as G. H. Guthrey, accompanied accompanied by Mrs. C. M. Master, played a prelude by Chaplin, on the violin. As the young couple stood at the alter, Miss Olive Brixby of Miami, accompanied by Mrs. L. B, Purcely also of Miami, sang "At Dawning." As the marriage vows were read by the Rev. C. C. Cockrum, Cockrum, the violin was softly played by Mr. Guthrey. The bride was lovely in a white satin dress made on the princess line. She carried a bouquet of white roses, The groom was dressed in a dark business suit.
