The Rev. James N. Gettemy per formed the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Garden City Hotel. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown made with a fitted bodice of Chantilly lace over satin and trimmed at the neck line with seed pearls. The full train was outlined with match ing lace and front and back skirt panels were trimmed with seed pearls. Her fingertip French illusion veil was held in place by a Chantilly lace headpiece. The bridal bouquet was a- a- cascade of lilies of the valley and orchids. Miss Kath ryn Hawes Ehlers was maid of honor for her sister. Another sister. Miss Virginia Horni Ehlers; Miss Joan Martin of Garden City, cousin of the bridegroom; Miss Barbara Lethen of Bellaire and Miss Barbara Brownell of Rockville Centre were the bridesmaids. They all wore strapless gowns of mauve nylon net with matching matching stoles and carried crescent-shaped crescent-shaped crescent-shaped bouquets of Spring flowers. The flower girl, Carolyn Carolyn Thoet of Forest Hills Gar dens, cousin of the bride, worei a yellow marquisette dress with ruffles at the neckline and waist. Mr. Seeth, after attending Roslyn High School, went into apprenticeship training for the Pilot Association. A member of the New York Sandy Hook Harbor Harbor Pilots Association, he has received his master's license. Mr. Seeth is also a member of I the Mattituck Yacht Club.
