June 3 Friends and relatives of the late Oeorsre Fendley. 76-year 76-year 76-year old resident of the Glad? community near here, j.id their last respects Thursday afternoon afternoon at services held at 2:30 o'clock in the Greenwood Methodist church Interment followed in the Greenwood Greenwood cemetery. Nephews of the life-long life-long life-long resident of Johnson county, including John Harmon. Robert Ppeas. R. W. Rheek. Jam' s Fendley. Hcwe Fendley and LaVerle Fendley bore the body of their uncle to its final restine p'.ace. Mr. Fendley died at his home southeast of Greenwood. Tuesday mcrnins nt 8:15 o'clock, following a year's illness. He was born February 15. 18G1. the son of James W. and Rebecca Fendley. in the Fairview neighborhood. He moved to the G'nde community after spending the early part of his life at the place of his birth. He was married to Miss Minnie Speas on March 29, 1899. and the widow survives with two bi others. Robert Fendley of Greenwood, and Harry Fendley, of Indianapolis. The deceased was n member of the Glade Methodist church and the K. of P. lode.e. Services were in charge of the Rev. Homer Manuel, retired Methodist Methodist minister. He was assisted by Rev. Ira Wat kins, pastor of the White'.and Methodist church, and by the Rev. Victor B. Harp it t, pastor of the Greenwood M."E. church.
