Spring) Lorance Morlan had the misfortune misfortune of getting too close to the blade of a large fan at the church and received a cut on the back of his left arm. The wound, which was quite deep, required sevejp stitches to close. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Spring were Tuesday supper guests at the Harvey Harvey Glasgow home. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Pfannebecker of Moravia were supper guests Tuesday at the home of Ralph Pfannebeckers here. Robert Morlan, accompanied by Lionel and Alvin Spring were in Winterset on business Wednesday, Mrs. Martha Bryant, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Spring were dinner guests w#h Minnie Replogle and Dee Whisler on Wednesday and Thursday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Loral Bryant and family. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Spring called on Mr. and Mrs. Guy Streepy Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moore were Thursday dinner guests of Mrs. Edna Moore in Centerville, Joe is doing doing nicely following surgery last week. Mary Lee Hinegardner, Darlene Spring and Linda Moore spent the weekend here at their homes. Mrs. Minnie Replogle was ill Thursday and Friday but is better, up and doing her housework. Dr. and Mrs. Joe Ingmand of Red Oak, Iowa, were at Ora Powell home and attended funeral services in Moulton Friday for her cousin, Cam Hornaday. Mr. .and Mrs. Cecil Morlan, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morlan's spent Friday evening at Joe Moore home. Mrs. Mary Harrett is spending a week at the Hugh Crawley home near Blakesburg. Mrs.. Edna Moore spent the weekend weekend at the Cliff Ogden home and attended Moulton Jamboree. Mrs. Mae Morlan who has spent several weeks at the Don Burgess home in Northwood came Saturday Saturday evening to visit with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Houser visited visited Sunday at the Junior Housers at Knoxville. Joe Moore, Mrs. Mae Mor hui, Mr. and Mrs. Lorance Morlan visited Sunday afternoon at Alvin Spring home. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Spring were Thursday dinner guests at Harold Springs. Sunday afternoon visitors at Lionel Lionel Spring home included Mr. and Mrs. John Gridle of Centerville, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Selix and sons and RusaeU Spurgeon and David Brown. Mrs. Betty Moffatt and Kathy called on Mrs. Minnie Moffatt one morning the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Glen McFall visited Sunday at the Ralph Pfannebecker home. Congratulations to Miss Patsy O'Donnell, O'Donnell, first place winner in the beauty contest at Moulton Jamboree. Jamboree. Mr. and Mrs. Gurney Jordan of Woodhull, m., spent the weekend at the Ben Glasgow home. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dommer of Albia were Sunday afternoon visitors. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Spring left for their home near Hickley, 111., Saturday Saturday after visiting the past week with relatives and friends here.
