George Major,' a well-known well-known well-known and highly esteemed resident of Dun- Dun- robin, died early yestcrdsy morning at a local hospital following lengthy Illness. He was 82 year of age. A son of tha late Mr. and Mr. George Major, who were pioneer settlers In South March. Mr. Major waa life-long life-long life-long resident of that dis trict, ana was tor many years successful farmer.' He was a devout devout member of St. Isidore's Roman Catholic parish. South March, and was held in great esteem by members members of the parish. Hi wife prede- prede- ceeaeu nim uiree yeare ago. Surviving are five eons, Harry. Peter,' William. Thomas, and Richard Richard Major, of Dunrebln: one dsugh- dsugh- ter, Mrs. R. H. Derraugh. of Dun- Dun- robin, and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Tues day morning from the funeral home of Brady and Harris, 878 Lisgar street to Bt Isidore Roman Catholic Catholic church. South March, where requiem high mass will be chanted
