WATER SYSTEM FOR ELLENSBURG Seven to One in Favor of Municipal Plant — One Ticket in Field. Ellensburg. Dec. S. —By a vote of 7 to 1 citizens of Ellensburg gave their approval to the council's scheme foe installing a municipal water system in Ellensburg. The cost of the undertaking, $800,000, will be paid by bonds issued against the system and paid by 75 per cent of its gross income. City Engineer Miller, who designed designed the-Cedar river water system, says that the sixteen-inch pipe line will supply 2,500,000 gallons of water a day and will be ample for a city of L'S.OOO population. There was only one ticket in the field and the following men were elected officers of the city for the following year: Mayor. F. E. Craig: attorney. J. H. McDanieis; clerk. John A.
