Reunion of Vanattas Is Staged Here One of the most successful reunions reunions of the Vanatta family was the fourteenth annual reunion held Thursday at Weed park, beginning beginning with a basket dinner at noon and continuing through the afternoon hours. D. C. Vanatta presided at the business meeting at which it was unanimously voted to hold the annual reunion next year at Weed park, Muscatine, on the last Thursday In August. The following following officers were elected: President, Mrs. C. B. Vanatta, Muscatine; vice president, D. C. Vanatta, Muscatine; secretary, Mrs. Carl Seastrand, Reynolds, II!.; assistant secretary, Ralph Vanatta, Buffalo Prairie, 111.; treasurer, Elbert McGreer, Illinois Illinois City, 11., re-elected. The new president will appoint the entertainment entertainment committee for the corning corning year. Games and contests were held during the afternoon and numerous numerous prizes were awarded the winners. winners. A kittenball game was one of the features, and ice cream and cake were served late In the afternoon.
