Arville Pierce Dies At Home Services will be Monday for Arville L. Pierce, 72, who died Wednesday in his Santa Cruz home. A native of Roby, Tex., he came to Santa Cruz from Ft. Worth following his retirement. He as a member of the Swift Employement Club. Pierce is survived by his wife, Karen, of Santa Cruz; two sons, Arville Pierce of Scotts Valley and Orville Pierce of Watouga, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. John Taff of Watsonville, Mrs. B. J. Cain of McKinney. Tex., and Mrs. Doris Fogerson of San Jose, Tex; a brother. Oakley Pierce of Congro, Tex. ; 12 grandchildren grandchildren and one great - grandchild. grandchild. Services will be held at Wessendorf and Holmes chapel Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. H. R. Atchison officiating. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in IOOF Mausoleum.
