It was with deep sorrow that her many Moran friends learned today that Mrs. Nora Mora Whitlow had passed away yesterday at her home in Kansas City, Kas. Mrs. Whitlow was 74 years old and had lived more than sixty years near and in Moran. After the death of her husband, the late T. E. Whitlow, she sold her property in Moran and moved to Kansas City eight months ago. She leaves three daughters, Marjorie Whitlow of the home, Mrs. Frank Martin, Parsons, Kas., and Mrs. Dewey Pinkston, Blue Mound, Kas., and five sons, Floyd T. Whitlow. Seattle, Wayne B. Whitlow, Pocatello, Pocatello, Idaho, Joyce E. Whitlow, Los Angeles, Dayre H. Whitlow and Gayle R. Whitlow, Kansas City. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon. Rev. Alice Sutton of Kincaid, a long time friend of the deceased, paid a beautiful tribute to her memory, assisted assisted by Rev. Pierce. The songs she loved so well, "Sweet Hour of Prayer," and "Jesus, Saviour, Pilot | Me," were sung by Dale Eflln with Miss Floy McGhishan at the piano. Interment was in the lola cemetery. A devoted wife, a loving mother, a true friend has left us. The memory memory of her sweet smile and quiet, unassuming way will always remain remain with us.
