Mary Kern, 35, wife of Frank Kern, died on Dec 11, 1916 from pneumonia at home in No. Catasauqua, Pa
Mary (Studena) Kern, age 35, 11 mos., died at 1107 Second St. She had suffered from pneumonia for 2 weeks per this Obituary. Survivors were her husband Frank, a son Frank, 3, and a daughter, Florence, 2. Following the funeral on Dec.15, 1916, her remains were interred in Gethsemane Cemetery. Note: Per her Death Cert., Mary died of septicemia following delivery of a malnourished, dead baby.
