o'clock Sunday home and later Mrs. Henry Ortnteier Mrs. Charlotte Ortmeler, 83, widow of the late Henry Ortmeier, passed away at her home In Kent township Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2 afternoon at the .from St. Paul's Lutheran church. Kent. Rev. T. S. Bolton will conduct the services and Interment will be made In Kent Lutheran cemetery. She is survived by the following children. Mrs. Earl Auman, Dixon; Mrs. William Offenheiser, Stockton; Mrs. Martin Finkenbinder, Kent; Mrs. R. Miller, Pearl City. Her maiden name was Charlotte Kru- johan. She was born In Lippe Detmold Germany, March 7, 1858. She cam to the United States as a young girl. Her marriage to Henry" Ort meler took place April 17, 1884, a Loran. One daughter died in in fancy. A brother, August Krug John, resides at Lanark. There an also two half-brothers, Henry Pontiac - Mich -; Maurice, New Glarus, Wis.
