ANNA THOMAS Mrs. Anna (Scott) Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Schermann, died at 7:10 a.m. sun- sun- at the home of her brother, Schermann, following a illness. The body will be at the Colbert until noon Wednesday. The service will be at the Evangelical-United Evangelical-United Evangelical-United Brethren church northeast of Rice at 2 pm Wednesday, the Rev. Donald Roesti officiating. Burial will be In the Graham cemetery. Pallbearers will be Schermann. Leslie Schermann, Alfred Schermann, John William F. Gaumnitz, Ernest Foss. Mrs. Thomas, daughter of Mr. and William Schermann, was born October 17, 1868, in Stoffelde, Germany. In 1881 the family came to United States and took residence Iowa, moving to Rice in 1887. Mrs. Thomas grew to womanhood and on April 24, 1889, married Thomas of Rice. To their two children were born. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Thomas lived the vicinity of Rice for many They were charter members of the Evangelical-United Evangelical-United Evangelical-United Brethren church near Rice and were in its work and program. After the death of her husband, September 14, 1943, Mrs. Thomas her home with her son, Harry Thomas, St. . Cloud, and her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Unger, Pay-nesville. Pay-nesville. Pay-nesville. He was born in Madison, Wis., on April 22, 1869, and in 1884 came to Buckman where he married Mary Kinzer on April 21, 1896. They moved to Benton county in lazo.
