WILLITS RANCHER IMMIIS SUICIDE ''Frederick Rossow, In III Health, Hgngs /.Himself Frederick W. Rossow of WlUits committed suicide Monday by lianging himself to ,a crossbeam In his barn. He had been dead for some time when found by his wife, Mrs. Emma Rossow. Sheriff B. G. Broaddus made ^he investigation as county coroner and learned from Mrs. Rossow that her husband had been a sick man for some time, Complaining often of the pains in his shoulders and arms. Monday morning ho arose as usual at 6 o'clock and after attending to the chores had breakfast. He then left for the bam across the road and aftgr he had been absent for a considerable time she went over to see if anything was wrong,with him, and found him hanging on the crossbeam. ' In preparation for the , act of suicide, Mr. Rossow had climbed a ladder to attacit the rope to the beam. He-then made a slipnoose which he placed around his neck and stepped off the ladder. He died by strangulation. Mr. and Mrs. Kossow had been residents of Little Lake valley for the past 12 years. Funeral services from the Anker Mortuary were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by interment in the WilUts Cemetery.
