Five Benton men, members of a laborer's union, were arrested af ter the altercation. They filed $500 bonds this morning'pn a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. The Benton men were identified as Jesse Sullivan, Humbert Dossett, Robert Swofford, Jack Stewart and Damon Galloway. The dispute was between unions on the construction job. The Mt.' Vernon men are members of the plumbers' union and the Benton men are members of the laborers' union there. Ernie Herlentein of II. & H was at the scene when the troubl occurred. He said the laborer contended that they should cut the grooves in concrete for the fitting of pipe, but the contrac specified that the plumbers should do the job. When the trouble started, ITert enstein said, Smith and Sammons were fitting pipe in a ditch. There was no dispute on that type of work, he said. He said the two Mt.
