Geneva Woman Is Suicide LAKE GENEVA-The body of Mr.s. Ann Rossow, 6S, a widow, wa.s found hanging from a joist in the basement of her home at 1020 Pleasant St. Tuesday evening. evening. Deputy Coroner Willard Simonson Simonson said the death was a suicide. Officials were told that Mrs. Rossow, who lived alone, had been in poor health and despondent. despondent. Tlie body was found by her brother, Robert Voss, Lake Geneva, Geneva, who became concerned when he was unable to enter the locked house. He broke a window to gain entry. Assistant Police Chief Al Stephan Stephan was called to investigate at 6:50 p.m. Mrs. Rossow, the former Ann Voss, was born March 12, 1898, at Woodstock, 111., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Voss. She was married to Walter Rossow, I Julv 29, 1935, in Chicago. He died Nov. 1, 1963. A resident of this area for the past 44 years, she was a mem-; her of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Lutheran Women's Society. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Jim Miller. Genoa City; \ Mrs. Minnie Weisner, Warren,' Ohio; and Mrs. Harry Foltz,! Lake Geneva; and two brothers, Paul Voss, Woodstock, 111., and Robert Voss, Lake Geneva. j Funeral services will be at 2. p.m. Friday at the Steinke Fu-! neral Home, the Rev.
