[ Backstage At Camilla By Dorothy Do-LIWe This week-end marked the opening of the riotously funny, Â·6RMS RIV VU" and it Is an unqualified success 1 The casting was superb with each actor assuming the character of the role like a second skin Y/evere particularly delighted during one scene in which the two main characters realize Ihe absurdness of their position .UH) start giggling It soon erupts into full-scale laughter and we defy anyone to keep a straight face It goes to prove the old .adage, laughter is contagious. contagious. Our thanks to the east, crew and director;.for a thoroughly enjoyable evening There is still another weekend of production so if you re ready to sit through an evening of uncontrolled laughter make your reservations now, . At this time, we would like to .. announce some of the people who have been cast in our next production, "Oklahoma" We're not able to list everyone in the cast yet, but some of the principal principal .characters ill be played by the following: Neena Sanf Sanf i l i p p o will play Laiirey; Antonio Briseno-Curley; Juan Trevino. Jud Fry; Sue Stine. Aunt Eller: Carolyn Gregory, Ado Annie; antl Dan McBane Â·Â·MI iw'v Will Parker. There are many other parts in this show filled by equally exciting talent ' Unfortunately, at the time this is being written, these are the only people we are sure of that will be In the cast Hopefully, by the time vou read this you will have .been notified if you are to be in the sallow. We certainly apologize for the length of time it is taking us, but due to circumstances circumstances beyond our control, control, it couldn't be helped for those of you in,the cast/who may be reading this, please remember, that the first read through will be Monday, March 29th at 7:30 sharp! We have a very short time to produce this show so it's v i t a l l y i m p o r t a n t that everyone co-operate to the best of his ability. While^ we are "on the subject of rehearsals we would like to ask if anyone has a piano they would tare to donate to the Iheater.-. We are in dire need of a rehear sal piano. It needn't be terribly' good or' particularly beautifu) but it should be able to hold a tune. If you have a piano taking up needed space in your home, call the Iheater and we \yil! be happy lo relieve you' of. your encumbrance. Hemcmber. it's completely tax deductab'le, Tillnexlweek...
