I 1 ... 1 ,1 .V. m U Y. . -:.. -:.. j. . at her home at 6 p. m. Thursday following an extended Illness of complications of old age. A son, John S. Leech, of New York city, and a grandgon-James grandgon-James grandgon-James R. Clark of Bloomington. were at her bedside when she died. She had lived at her home with a private nurse for the past three years. Elizabeth Mikel was born in Greenville, Dark county, Ohio, on Oct. 11, 1836, a daughter of William William and Catherine Mikel. At the age of 8 year she came with her parents to Bloomington, where she had lived ever since. On March 20.. 1859. she was married married to Robert K. Leech at Leon, Iowa. They were the parents of five children: John of New York, Norma F. of Petersburg, Lenna M. Clark. James W. and Katherlne F. Leech, now deceased. Robert Leech was a contractor In Bloomington for a number of years before his death on July 11. 1910. Mrs. Leech was the oldest of 13 children. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Kate Martin, and two broth-, broth-, broth-, era, Andrew and William Mikel. She also leaves three grandchildren: grandchildren: Mr. Clark of 1404 North Clinton Clinton boulevard, Edith L. Masters of Petersburg, and Bessie B. Rose of Lajunta. and two great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Miss Betty Clark of Bloom ington, and Misa Bessie Rose of Lajunta. There are also a number of nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Mrs. Leech waa a member of the First Baptist church. She Joined the Institution when 18 years old and waa a regular attendant at , church and prayer meetings as long as she was able to go The funeral will be held at the First a Baptist church at 1 p. m. Saturday, I Burial will be at Downs.
