That Road to Redlands - one-half to THE ROAD TO REDLANDS NEARLY READY...
one-half to THE ROAD TO REDLANDS NEARLY READY FOR USE. The Latter City Bidding For the High land Trade News nd Personal Notes. Highland, Dec. 2. (Regular cor resoondence of The Sun.) The long talked of IIighland-KedlandB road is now graded and will be top-dressed im mediately with clay, and a substantial bridge built across the Santa Ana river Kedlands merchants are making a Btrong fight for the Highland trade, and are leaving no stone unturned to secure it Whilo there is no place where or chards are better cared for than Hiirh land, the average street is almost a dis gracea piling place lor brush and a breeding place for weeds- they nrenent a most unsightly appearance. No doubt a great many strangers will visit High land during this winter, and nothing will leave a belter impression than well kept Btreeta. It will be a paying in veBtment to clean them up. Let High land be noted lur beautiful orchards and good streets
