Miss Frances K. McPake to Be October Bride Miss Frances Kathryn McPake, daughter of Mr and Mrs. John L. McPake, entertained a large company company of friends Saturday evening at ialto Inn, announcing her engage ment to William Lawrence Nolan, on of Mr, and Mrs. Joseph P. No-in No-in No-in of Garden City, Kansas. The ! wedding of the popular couple will take place next month at St. Ber-nardine's Ber-nardine's Ber-nardine's Catholic church. The announcement Is not a complete complete surprise to friends of the bride-elect, bride-elect, bride-elect, who has been wearing a beautiful diamond ring on the significant finger for some time. Miss McPake, costumed in a 'beautiful dinner gown, wearing a corsage of gardenias sent by her fiance, received her guests, assisted by her mother. Dinner was served at 7:30 o'clock, the table being attractively attractively appointed in white, the centerpiece being of white pom-pom pom-pom pom-pom dahlias, phlox and breath of heaven, heaven, pastel shades tapers shining amid the blooms.
