JOHN OF SWEA WED 25 YEARS, NOV. 28TH Swea-Eagle: Mr. and Mrs. Joh; Jongberg were honored on their 25t! ! wedding anniversary at a surpris party at their home Friday night Nov. 28, when forty relatives anc friends came In for a social time. A short program was given. Mrs Howard Mayne sang "Memories and "Perfect Day", accompanied b> Mrs. Joe Mayne. The guests presented the Jong bergs with a silver table service for eight. Comrmmity'Silver Carnation pattern. The table decorations were a decorated wedding cake and white candles. On the buffet a bouquet of chrysanthemums was placed. Lunch was served. Guests present Included Mrs. Maggie Thackery, Mrs. Viva Thackery and two children of Armstrong, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mayne, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mayno and daughter, De- 1'oris and son, Robert, Mrs. Lawrence Mayne and children, Mr. and Mrs Frank Kelly of Ledyard, and the Walter Peterson, Emil Larsons and Floyd Treats. Ellis and Arden Jongberg and June Larson of Clarksville. Petersons Given Reception Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Berg gave a reception at their homo Saturday night, Nov. 29, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Holger .Peterson who were married Nov. 7. Mrs. Peterson befon marriage was Liala Berg. A socla evening was spent followed by a luncheon. The couple received many gifts.
