EJi yi. Bershey Eli M. Hershey, 78, of Dalton, retired retired farmer, died Wednesday evening at his residence after an illness of several weeks. His widow, Mrs. Nannie Nannie Hershey; two sons, Merle Hershey of Orrville, and Morris R. Hershey of Dalton; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Goudy, of Dalton, and Mrs. Elma Hamoleton, of Reedurban; a. brother John C. Hershey, of Wadsworth; and 10 grandchildren survive. Mr. Hershey was a life resident of Wayne county. He resided on a farm west of Dalton until a few years ago when he moved to Dalton. Last year he and Mrs. Hershey celebrated their golden wedding wedding anniversary. The funeral will be -held Saturday at 2 p. m. at the Dalton Presbyterian church. The Revs. A. J. Sanders and R.J3. Pmkerton will officiate. Interment Interment will be made in the Dalton cemetery. The body will fa e removed Friday from the Desvoignes funeral home at Mfc. Eaton to the residence, where friends may call from 7 to 9 ). m. The body will lie in state at the church for an hour before the lervice.
