Elect School Board Officials At St. Joseph's Members of the newly formed St. Joseph's Parish Board of Education met Monday evening at St. Joseph's Convent to elect officers. Dr. Gordon MacMaster was elected president. Other officers are Douglas Benoit, Benoit, vice-president; and Mrs. Ray W. Johnston, secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer. The board, recently chosen by members of St. Joseph's Parish, also includes Sister Ann Charlotte, St. Joseph's School principal; The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Oliver O'Callaghan. O'Callaghan. pastor: and Perry Pingatore and Leo Desrochers, who will serve for three years. Benoit and Mrs. Johnston's terms run for two years; Dr. MacMaster's, one year. A proposed constitution and bylaws bylaws will be studied by the group at its next meeting, Feb. 14. They also will consider budget and committees. The constitution and by-laws will be published, by sections, in the parish Sunday bulletin. The board will meet regularly on the second Monday of each month at the convent. All meetings meetings are open to any interested parishioner.
