Paul Werner GLEN ROCK - Paul Werner. 88. husband of Mrs. Mary Eleanor Schriver Werner, 100 Hanover St., died Saturday at 9:30 p.m. at York Hospital, where he was a patient one week. A life-long life-long life-long Glen Rock area resident, he was a son of the late Henry, and Julieann Bortner Werner, and belonged to the Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church. He had retired in 1958 after being employed for 40 years by Read Machinery Co. of Glen Rock, now Teledyne Readco, at York. He had Ireaveled extensively serving as installation and construction field supervisor for the firm's bakery division. His memberships included Glen Rock Lodge 287, Knights of Pythias, and the Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Co. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are nieces and nephews. His pastor, The Rev. Richard C. Weaver, will officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church with burial to take place in the adjoining cemetery. Family suggested that memorials be made to St. Jacob's (Stone) Church or to a favorite charity.
