Killed Instantly Mrs. John Harmon, And Springfield Woman Hurt BLOOD DONORS NEEDED TO KEEP GIRL ALIVE "BEASON. (PNS) John Harmon. 75 year old Logan county farmer of near Beason, was killed instantly and his wife, Ella, 60 injur.!, when their car collided with an auto driven by Mrs. Cora B. Keaung, 40, Springfield, at the intersection of state route 10 and the county road one half mile north of Beason at 3:30 p. hi. Wednesday. Mrs. Keating and Mrs. Harmon were taken to Deaconess hospital In Lincoln In Sheets' ambulance. Mrs. Harmon was suffering from a dieiccated h'p, shock and bruises. Headon Collision. Mrs. Keating suffered chest Injuries, bruises about the body and possible internal injuries. C. W. Smith, deputy who investigated the crash,, said that Harmon who was driving east had started to make a left hand turn, off the road and collided with the west bouxtd Keating car almost headon. E. C. Goff, coroner, will hold an Inquest later. Born Near Beason. Mr. Harmon was born Nov. 7, 1844. near Beason, and married Mis Ella Robinson, Oct. 16, 1923, at Uloomington. ho is survived by his wile, a brother, F. M. Winthroy, la., and thre sisters, Mrs. Rose M. Gordon, Saa Antonio, Tex,; Mrs. Frank Stol. Clinton; Mrs. F. M. Stoll, Beason. He was a SHember of the Beason Mehodist church, Beason lodge, AF and AM, former supervisor of Or an township, and for many years owned and operated a grain ele vator in Beason. His body was removed to Sheets funeral home in Lincoln pending ineral arrangements. DANVERS.
