MRS.S.J. K.STEMEN DIES AT RESIDENCE Wife of Man Associated With College Succumbs - to Unusual Disease Mrs. Salome J. KiracofefStemen, years old, wife of Samuel Albert Stemea who has long been associated with Hunt ington v college and College Park,' died last evening at 6 :50 o'clock at the home in College Park. Death was due to an enlargement of the spleen which accom - ' panies a change in the relation of white to red blood corpuscles. The, disease, though not rare, is uncommon. ' - Mrs. Stemen was born July 12, 1800, in Allen county, .Ohio, near Lima, 'the daughter of Henry and Delilah Kiracofe, and Iter ' marriage took place September 5. 1878. Ten children were, born to the couple, aU living excepting Floyd K. and Marjorie L. The husband and the following following eight children ' survive : Mrs. Myrtle Gibson, - Portland, Mich.; Mrs. Mary Miller, Indianapolis; Mrs Lena May, College Park; Mrs. Elva Allen, Harvey, 111. ; Mrs. Nina. Shepherdson, College Park; Thomas R. Stemen, Oklahoma Oklahoma City, Okla.; Clarence 3. Stemen, Tipton, and Mrs. Mildred - Sinclair, Huntington. There are nineteen grandchildren grandchildren grandchildren - and two great - grandchildren. Two aisters, Mrs. Lucinda Counsellor of Elida, Ohio, and Mrs. Henrietta' Eber - man of Lima, Ohio, also survive.''
