A son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlyn Miller of rural Danvers, he has been teaching swimming and reading at Kcnilworth Youth Camp in Jamaica the past seven weeks. He is one of 19 Goshen (Ind.) College students who have spent the past 14 weeks In Jamaica in the school's study-service study-service study-service trimester. The first seven weeks were devoted to study of the island country's geography, history, culture, arts, economics and religions. The second seven weeks are being spent in unsalaried field work, usually at a location outside the capital, Kingston. Each of the students spends about half of his time making a physical, spiritual, or intellectual contribution to the country without pay. Generally the students work under the supervision of nationals. Students live in the homes of nationals and cat two meals a day with their host families. They learn the language curing formal study the first seven weeks in the country and in conservations with their "families." Dana will be a junior at Goshen College College this fall, majoring in elementary education. He will head an off-campus off-campus off-campus house in addition to helping teach college swimming classes.
