Hollis Martin pardoned & citizenship restored
Gov. Dave Cargo granted a pardon and restored citizenship citizenship rights to Hollis Martin, 49, who was convicted of first degree murder in 1937 in Lincoln Lincoln County and was paroled in 1952. The conviction stemmed stemmed from two slayings in 1935 at a Tinnie home. A death sentence was commuted commuted by Gov. Clyde Tingley in the case.
